NEW RELEASE REVIEW: The Bootlegger’s Bounty by Adriana Herrera

The Boolegger’s Bounty

Adriana Herrera

Released: 4/16/2024

She’s trapped between an angel and the devil.

A jazz singer on the run.
A rum runner on the edge.
A gangster ready to risk it all.

Rosalía Ferrer dreams of leaving her island behind and sailing north to sing in a New York City nightclub. Unfortunately, the only way to escape her father’s suffocating clutches is to align herself with two ruthless men. Putting her fate and body in the hands of a rum runner and a gangster is a risky gamble; but Rosalía will do whatever it takes to get what she wants…even if it means striking a dangerous deal.

Author Adriana Herrera gives us tons of spicy and then some!

Don’t let this novella fool you into thinking there won’t be enough…because it’s packed deliciously into a perfect world that comes to life off the pag3s.

Did I mention it’s spicy hot 🥵

Like my cherries 🍒 did not survive while reading and I am okay with that.

Set in a historical backdrop , these unforgettable characters Rosalia, Enzo & Cam  bring all the desires out to play and I am here for it.

I loved how Rosalia has such a naughty mouth 👄  and knows how to use it to say what she wants without hesitation. Enzo & Cam are the cherries on top of making her desires come to life in unity.

I loved how the author attention to detail in every aspect of  the world they created is easily pictured while reading. Instantly I clearly envisioned the world I was devouring in my  mind.

Go grab this steamy quick must read novella!

USA Today Best Selling and Audie winning author Adriana was born and raised in the Caribbean, but for the last fifteen years has let her job (and her spouse) take her all over the world. She loves writing stories about people who look and sound like her people, getting unapologetic happy endings. The New York Times once called her book "sweet, thoughtful, and delightfully filthy too."

When she’s not dreaming up love stories, planning logistically complex vacations with her family or hunting for discount Broadway tickets, she’s a trauma therapist in New York City, working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Represented by Taylor Haggerty at  Root Literary.
